Message	the first time I attempted to do gauges, I ended up pulling the needle out of the speedo. Since then, I've done about 5 sets without any problems. It's one of those things - when you know what to expect, it's cake. When you don't, it's trouble. Anyway, I really like mine ... relatively easy to install and they look great IMHO. For $24, it's one of the best interior changes I've done to my Z. Here's mine:
